2024 Art Contest Guidelines
Who: Anyone attending Northeast Thing 2024
What: Submit a work of visual art that reflects this year’s theme (announced below).
When: The submitted work must have been created after NET 2023.
Theme: “Weaving the Tapestry of Frith”
This year we decided to go with a slightly abstract theme. I’d love to see what people come up with to reflect how we go about building and sustaining our community. You could take this task literally with some fiber work or show us something abstract with watercolors.
The artwork submitted may be 2D or 3D. It can be any sort of non-electronic visual media. So, it can be a piece of digitally produced art, it just can’t be a video- it must be printed. It may not be performance art. All entries must be consistent with the theme of the contest.
